The Texas Leadership Summit on Early Education was co-hosted by the United Ways of Texas, United Way of Greater Houston's Bright Beginnings, Texas Early Childhood Education Coalition, Texas Health and Human Services Commission Office of Early Childhood Coordination, Texas Association of Infant Mental Health, Texas Association of Childcare Resource & Referral Agencies, AVANCE, Family Service Association, and Exxon Mobil.
The goal of the summit was to engage Texas business and economic leaders in a dynamic conversation on the merits of supporting economic growth and sustainability through investments in early education. Policymakers and early education experts attended to serve as a resource to business leaders on this important topic.
